Loop. At least 19 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in a new wave of Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip.

One of the targets was the Nuserait refugee camp, where there are also reported missing people, after Israeli warplanes attacked two homes, the Palestinian agency Wafa reported yesterday.

Another attack was carried out on the Al Shuyaiya school, which houses displaced families. Most of the deceased were children and women.

The Israeli army said its soldiers shot dozens of suspects who posed a threatwhen they were heading towards a military position where soldiers operate in central Gaza.

On the other hand, in the reoccupied West Bank, the Israel Defense Forces shot dead two Palestinians in the Balata refugee camp, located on the outskirts of Nablus, the Palestinian authorities reported.

Meanwhile, the Houthis of Yemen claimed responsibility for three attacks against merchant ships in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, reported the spokesman for the troops of the Shiite movement Ansar Allah, Yahya Saria.

“The British tanker Cordelia Moon was attacked in the Red Sea with eight ballistic and cruise missiles, a drone and unmanned ships,” the spokesperson reported.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations agency, for its part, reported that the ship was hit by unmanned surface vessel.

The second and third operation, detailed the Houthi spokesperson, was carried out against the ship Marathopolis (flying the Maltese flag), which violated the ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine. The ship was attacked with a cruise missile in the Indian Ocean, and then with the help of a drone, in the Arabian Sea, northeast of the Yemeni archipelago of Socotra.

Saria warned that operations against foreign ships will continue, as well as the blockade of Israeli ships, in solidarity with Palestine.

The Houthis are carrying out a campaign against ships sailing to or from Israel that transit the Arabian and Red Seas, while the Gaza Strip does not receive the food and medicine it needs.

In mid-December, the United States launched the multinational operation Guardian of Prosperitywith the participation of more than 20 countries, to protect security in this key area for international trade, but this measure did not deter the Houthis.

The last time Yemeni rebels launched an attack on commercial ships was in early September.
