Seven men have been sentenced to between six and 25 years in prison for raping two minors in Rotherham, northern England, a case that has shocked Britain, which has seen more than a thousand abuse victims over the years. The men, who lived in or around Rotherham, were found guilty in June after a nine-week trial in Sheffield, the UK Crime Agency said yesterday. The case is part of a scandal involving hundreds of victims of abuse, often after being forced to drink alcohol or smoke cannabis.
