The Bolivian government joins the investigation against former president Evo Morales for statutory rape

La Paz., The government of Bolivia joined the investigation against former president Evo Morales for having conceived a baby with a minor in 2015, a fact that is being investigated as a crime of statutory rape.

Meanwhile, the Puebla Group, which brings together left-wing leaders from Latin America, expressed in a statement its “deep concern about the campaign of lawfare that is beginning to develop” against Morales and asked President Luis Arce Do not allow your government, the judicial authorities themselves or some control organizations to participate in this operation of reputational damage against a citizen.
