Rio de Janeiro., The summit of the Group of Twenty (G-20) will bring together the largest economies in the world this November 18 and 19 at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro and will begin with the presentation of one of the main objectives of the Brazilian presidency of the group, the creation of a global alliance to eradicate hunger. The European Union, the African Union and several international organizations participate as guests, bringing the number of delegations present to 56.
The day will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the Brazilian president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and the first lady, Janja Lula da Silva, as hosts when receiving the heads of state and government at the Museum of Modern Art from Rio de Janeiro, headquarters of the conclave.
The meeting will discuss global governance reform, how to modernize major international institutions, such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the World Trade Organization. so that they reflect contemporary realities and promote fairer and more efficient governanceexplained the presidency of the meeting.

The closing ceremony will celebrate the transfer of the G-20 presidency from Brazil to South Africa.
Among the heads of state present in Rio de Janeiro are the presidents of China, Xi Jinping, of the United States, Joe Biden, and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, representing Russia.
The G-20 is an international organization created in 1999 and is made up of 19 countries, the European Union and the African Union. The 19 countries are Germany, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, South Korea, the United States, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Turkey.
