Geneva. A convoy of around 100 trucks carrying humanitarian aid was attacked in the Gaza Strip, reported yesterday the head of the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini.
The head of the organization denounced that now UNRWA has no possibility of accompanying its convoys in the south of the enclave.
Lazzarini added that the organization’s center, located in Khan Yunis, was attacked by hundreds of people looking for food. However, the facility does not store food.
Meanwhile, several Israeli military attacks throughout the Gaza Strip yesterday caused the death of almost twenty Palestinians; Of them, six died in tents that housed displaced families, medical sources indicated.
Four people, including two children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a camp in the coastal area of Al Mawasi, a humanitarian zone, and two others were killed in temporary shelters in the southern city of Rafah and another in drone fire, according to health sources.

In southern Lebanon, at least six paramedics were killed in an Israeli airstrike against a relief house in the town of Baraachit, 7 kilometers from the Israeli border, the NNA news agency reported.
Other missile attacks from Lebanon launched by Hezbollah hit Tel Aviv and northern Israel, leaving at least one dead and several injured.
