The government of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), yesterday expressed its approval for the recent ceasefire reached between Israel and Hezbollah.
The foreign ministry described the agreement as significant step towards stabilization of the region and reiterated Mexico’s commitment to promoting international peace and security.
“He @GobiernoMX welcomes the agreement between Israel and Hezbollah, which ends hostilities in Lebanon,” the agency said.
He called for this example of dialogue and understanding to be replicated in Gaza as soon as possible. He highlighted the need for lasting peace in the region, which allows reconstruction and comprehensive development for the benefit of its inhabitants.
