Havana. The Cuban president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, yesterday summoned preserve the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of Syriawhile the government of Venezuela advocated for a peaceful solution to the conflict, without external interference or violence, and urged the international community to promote initiatives that contribute to peace in that nation.

For its part, the Brazilian government ordered the evacuation of its embassy in Damascus to protect its diplomats in the face of the growing chaos in that country, according to official information reported by the Brazilian media UO.
