Washington. A Pakistani man with alleged ties to Iran has been charged in the United States with involvement in a foiled assassination plot that could target former President Donald Trump, CNN reported yesterday, citing an undisclosed indictment and a US official.
Federal Bureau of Investigation agents believed Trump and other current and former US government officials were the targets, CNN reported.
This plot has nothing to do with the attack on the tycoon on July 13, when he was shot in the ear.
