Brasilia takes reciprocal action to expulsion of its ambassador in Managua

Managua. The government of Daniel Ortega expelled the Brazilian ambassador to Nicaragua, Breno de Souza Brasil Días da Costa, for not attending the event celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Sandinista revolution on July 19, Vice President Rosario Murillo reported yesterday. Brazil took a reciprocal measure, so Murillo added that the Nicaraguan ambassador to Brazil, Fulvia Castro, was en route to our Nicaragua, where she will serve as Minister of Family Economy upon her arrivalThe Catholic Church also denounced the kidnapping of nine priests by the Sandinista police in the last 10 days, while the government said that seven clerics left the country on Wednesday and arrived in Rome.
