Gaza Strip., More than 100 people were killed and dozens injured in an Israeli attack on the Al-Tabaeen school in Gaza today. Tel Aviv said the building was housing Palestinian fighters.

Israel has launched a new ground offensive in the south of the strip, after announcing the day before that it had agreed to resume negotiations to reach a ceasefire with Hamas.

We have been displaced 15 times. Enough is enough! We are civilians and we are not responsible for this situation.exclaimed Mohamed Abdeen, a resident of Gaza, while Ahmed al Najar, another resident of Khan Yunis – the largest city in the south of the Palestinian enclave – joined in the clamor and shouted angrily: No more humiliation! Stop this farce!

One of the airstrikes in Khan Yunis hit the home of the Abu Moamar family, killing a television journalist, his wife and their three daughters.

In turn, the Israeli army indicated that it fought underground in that city, where its troops focused several operations against Hamas, an attack that left at least 21 people dead, said doctors at the Nasser hospital.

The IDF also said its aircraft struck 30 Hamas targets in Khan Yunis, including fighters and weapons depots.

Meanwhile, the United Nations (UN) yesterday expressed its support for the proposal by Egypt, Qatar and the United States for Israel and Hamas to resume talks this month in order to stop the fighting, said the organization’s spokeswoman Florencia Soto. Any move that brings the parties closer to a ceasefire is welcome to us.she said, when asked about the UN’s position on the proposal.

Meanwhile, the head of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Ismail Qaani, reiterated yesterday to the new political leader of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, Tehran’s commitment to avenge the blood of the murdered Ismail Haniyeh, victim of an attack attributed to Israel.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health’s emergency centre said several people were injured. Beirut reported a roadmap for a de-escalation between Israel and Hezbollah, so that the parties cease any type of provocative action.
