President Andrés Manuel López Obrador regretted the violent incidents against former president and Republican candidate for the presidency of the United States, Donald Trump. We regret the violence against former President Donald Trump. The way forward is democracy and peacethe Mexican president said on social media.
For her part, the president-elect, Claudia Sheinbaum, condemned on social media the attempt to attack the tycoon and assured that Peace must always guide democratic processes.
