La Paz., Bolivian President Luis Arce yesterday called his former ally and now bitter rival, former president Evo Morales, to a dialogue to stop a march to La Paz, which aims to protest the economic crisis in the nation and achieve recognition of Morales as the ruling party’s candidate for the next presidential elections in 2025.

We invite Evo Morales on Friday to engage in dialogue so that he stops leading his militancy and the people into a confrontation between brothers.said Bolivian Minister of the Presidency, María Nela Prada.

The official assured that the mobilization is for the sole purpose of to impose his candidacy by fair means or foul (…) trampling once again the Constitution and try shorten the mandate of the constitutional president.
