Quito. A forest fire that started yesterday in the northeast of this capital forced the evacuation of dozens of people whose homes were threatened by the flames, municipal authorities reported. Given the magnitude of the fire, in-person classes were also suspended throughout the city on Wednesday. Mayor Pabel Muñoz said: We are classifying these acts as criminals and terrorists.for which there are More than 100 families evacuated, mainly for preventive reasonsin addition to two injured firefighters.
