Caracas. The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE) of Venezuela, Elvis Amoroso, said that everything is ready for tomorrow’s elections and for the people to be able to express their will in a sovereign manner.

In another order, the official denounced the smear campaign against the Venezuelan electoral referee through some media outlets and foreign governments that They try to hinder the electoral process. Amoroso pointed out that each of the activities established in the electoral schedule was carried out with transparency and with the participation of political groups and international observers.

The head of the CNE commented on the invitation issued by the Electoral Power to the 10 candidates participating in the electoral contest, in order to sign a document in which they commit to recognize the popular will expressed at the polls, two of whom did not participate. For his part, the vice president of the National Council, Carlos Quintero, presented the voting system to the international observers, and stressed that their presence in the country is extremely important, as it provides the possibility of learning about its operation.

Quintero said that the more than 600 observers who arrived in Caracas will have the opportunity to witness the installation of the polling stations throughout the country tomorrow.
