Peace. Former Bolivian president Evo Morales denounced yesterday that they tried to poison him, despite the fact that no one outside his inner circle has access to the place where he is being held, in a coca-growing area of the Andean country. In conversation with Kausachun Coca radio, Morales said that on the floor and wall of his room he found something that looked like green flour and thought it was some product to eliminate ants or other bugs. But according to a statement from the former president’s press officers, it was detected that the substance was copper oxychloride, a chemical compound that is used as a fungicide. Without evidence, followers of Morales held President Luis Arce responsible for the alleged poisoning attempt.
