La Paz, Bolivia.- Former Bolivian President Evo Morales yesterday presented three conditions to President Luis Arce to end the protests that have shaken the country in the last week: the dismissal of several ministers, that he be allowed to be a candidate for the ruling party in the next elections and to resolve the shortage of hydrocarbons.

Accompanied by 12,000 supporters, Morales traveled 190 kilometers over seven days, from Oruro to La Paz, in protest against the economic crisis and an alleged attempt by the Executive to torpedo his presidential candidacy.

“Yeah Fought He wants to continue governing, first, in 24 hours, he should change ministers drug dealerscorrupt, drug addicts and racists,” he warned without mentioning names. He also gave the same period to resolve the fuel shortage in the country.

Foreign Minister Celinda Sosa denounced the former president’s departure as part of the planning of a coup against Arce, with the aim of becoming a candidate in 2025, despite the fact that the Constitution prohibits him from doing so.

Following the rally led by Morales, his supporters attempted to take over the offices of the Bolivian Workers’ Union (COB), aligned with Arce. Police and pro-government miners dispersed the protesters.

At the end of the protest, supporters of both leaders engaged in a pitched battle with dynamite cartridges and fireworks, but were dispersed by the police with tear gas, reported the Bolivian portal Digital Compass.

The march failed to reach the Plaza Murillo, where the Government Palace is located, which was surrounded by Arce’s supporters. Morales announced his return to Chapare.
