Sao Paulo, Brazil – Brazil’s Federal Police will investigate criminal actions that led to the burning of grasslands and forest fires in some regions of Brazil, especially in the state of Sao Paulo (southeast), where two people died and two people were arrested, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva announced yesterday. He added that specialists from the Brazilian Institute of the Environment reported that there are no signs of fires detected due to natural causes.
