Britain began suspending licences for arms shipments to Israel yesterday as ministers review their policies, a source familiar with the matter said. The Jewish Chronicle.

A spokesman for the UK Department of Business and Trade said: It is vital that we comply with our national and international legal obligations when it comes to arms exports..

Although Foreign Secretary David Lammy has not given a final decision on whether to halt arms sales to Israel, civil servants have already stopped issuing permits.
