Jerusalem. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated this Monday that he will not stop now the war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, to prevent the Palestinian Islamist movement from rebuild.

If we stop the war now, Hamas will rise again, rebuild and attack us again, and we don’t want to go back to that.Netanyahu declared at a press conference.

Following the unprecedented October 7, 2023 attack launched by Hamas in southern Israel initiated from the neighboring Gaza Strip, Netanyahu vowed to destroy the Islamist movement and his army launched a devastating offensive in the Palestinian territory.
