Jorge Rodríguez, head of the campaign for Venezuela Nuestra, which promotes the reelection of Nicolás Maduro, yesterday denounced the alleged implementation of a plan by some opposition sectors in this Caribbean country with the purpose of ignoring the results of the presidential elections on Sunday, July 28. He pointed out that the ruse includes the publication of false exit polls, supported by figures disseminated by international media such as CNN in Spanishand accuses interference from other countries. Rodríguez said that current polls of voting intention give the Chavista leader a 15 percent lead over his main rival.
