North Korean media published images of uranium enrichment facilities for the first time yesterday, on the occasion of a visit by the nation’s leader, Kim Jong-un. The nation conducted its first test of atomic weapons, which use the radioactive element, in 2006. Without citing a place or date, the statement said that Jong-un had made an inspection visit to the Nuclear Weapons Institute and the production base, and that the leader had visited the facility for the first time.
