Moscow. Russia said yesterday that it condemns any kind of violence and added that it did not believe that the US government was responsible for the attack on Donald Trump, but accused it of creating an atmosphere that provoked it.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that “after numerous attempts to remove candidate Trump from the political arena – using first legal tools, the courts, prosecutors, attempts to politically discredit and compromise him – it was obvious to all outside observers that his life was in danger.”
The Chinese Foreign Ministry said President Xi Jinping had sent his sympathy to Trump and that he was concerned and was closely following the situation in the United States.
The leaders of Germany, Spain, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Chile, El Salvador, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Austria and Egypt, among others, as well as the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, separately condemned the attack.
