Damascus. Syria yesterday demanded the withdrawal of US troops from its territory, which have been stationed there since 2015 to prevent the resurgence of the Islamic State.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry has denounced criminal practices by the separatist militia Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which receives support from Washington.
Syria condemned the recent US airstrikes against civilians defending their families, villages and property from SDF aggression. The retaliatory attack came after a major offensive by Arab tribal forces in which they drove SDF militants from positions in northeastern Deir Ezzor.
