Buenos Aires. Upon receiving the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, her host, President Javier Milei, said: “Today the West is under a cloak of darkness and demands that those of us who defend freedom – although we are still few – shed light and show the way. ”, when warning that In the long run we will prevail, even if they have an advantage while the visitor referred to Ukraine, the Middle East and Venezuela, and pointed out that her country recognized the opposition leader Edmundo González Urrutia as the winner in the last Venezuelan presidential elections.

With President Milei we decided to work on three guidelines: the first is, obviously, political collaboration. We agreed to jointly write an Italy-Argentina 2025-2030 action plan that identifies main sectors for bilateral collaboration, on which our efforts and energies can be concentrated.Meloni indicated.

Another point was the fight against organized crime, since we are determined to fight against drug trafficking, corruption, money laundering, infiltration of the economic and social system and human traffickinghe added.

He praised the “liberalization of the economy that Milei promotes and that It will serve to open new opportunities and be a further incentive for the Italian presence in Argentina to grow in the way we would like to do. In fact there are 300 Italian companies in Argentina.

Milei called himself a defender of free trade, common sense and strict private property. Before sclerotic international organizations, we defend the sovereignty of our nations in the face of endless regulations that attempt to dictate how each citizen should live.by highlighting that the values he shares with Meloni are scarce in the West.

As an example he cited that before gender ideology, we advocate for the unrestricted right to life and family as a central element of society.

The visit of the Italian premier took place in a rarefied atmosphere amid a wave of protests and complaints about the serious social, economic and political situation, and in the face of evident and harsh political persecution against former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, that by all means they are trying to ban for life, which will be extended to other former officials and militants of Todo por la Patria (TP) and the forms that are intended to register those who they consider left-handed either communistspreparing to do the same in public universities, which they are trying to disappear.

In recent days, a fascist group that under the name of The Forces of Heaven, defined itself as the armed defense of the government, presented itself with the Nazi liturgy, in a scenario copied from those that took place during the times of Adolf Hitler in Germany. .

All opposition sectors reacted to the appearance of a group willing to engage in extreme violence, which has been denounced for months by different organizations, including human rights organizations, which are under threats and attacks on political headquarters.

The socialist deputies Mónica Fein and Esteban Paulón filed a criminal complaint for the public appearance of those who define themselves as armed arms or “praetorian guard” of the president.
