Washington. The 20-year-old man who tried to kill Donald Trump searched the Internet for information about the assassination of John F. Kennedy around the same time he began to focus on the Republican presidential candidate, FBI Director Christopher Wray said yesterday.

The assassination attempt against the former president was an attack on our democracy and we will not tolerate political violence of any kind.he told the House Judiciary Committee.

He said suspect Thomas Crooks visited Trump’s rally site in Butler, Pennsylvania, twice before climbing onto the roof of a nearby building on the 13th and firing at least eight shots, hitting Trump in the ear, killing one rally-goer and wounding two others.

About two hours before the shooting, Crooks flew a drone over the area about 200 yards from the stage where Trump addressed the crowd and recorded it live for about 11 minutes.

Law enforcement officers did not see Crooks on the roof with his rifle. AR-15 until seconds before he opened fire, Wray said, noting that the timeline could change as investigators’ understanding of the events evolves.

The motive for the episode remains unclear. Wray said many people have described Crooks as a loner and that the contact list on his phone was short.

Radical lunaticthe tycoon calls Harris

Trump launched a barrage of attacks against Vice President Kamala Harris, whom he called radical lunatic in her first rally since the Democrat launched her candidacy after President Joe Biden withdrew from the race for the White House.

In a speech in which he also claimed that Harris was in favor of the execution of babies because of his pro-abortion stance, he said: She is a radical leftist lunatic who will destroy our country.

We won’t let that happen.he told a crowd in North Carolina, repeatedly mispronouncing Harris’s first name.
