Caracas. The Venezuelan armed forces, which expressed absolute loyalty President Nicolás Maduro, criticized the sanctions yesterday for alleged electoral fraud against four senior military officers – from a list of 16 officials – applied on Thursday by the United States. Washington warned that it will take additional decisions if the president does not publish the minutes of the elections of July 28.
Among those sanctioned are officials of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), the National Electoral Council (CNE) and Parliament.

Finally, the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty also rejected the new sanctions issued by Washington against Venezuelan officials, while Pope Francis urged the Venezuelan government to dialogue and stated that Dictatorships are useless and end badly, sooner or later..
