Buenos Aires, The brutal murder of Susana Montoya, 76, widow of Ricardo Fermín Albareda, kidnapped and disappeared during the military dictatorship in the province of Córdoba, and the threats written on the walls found by Fernando, the victim’s son, caused a stir among the country’s human rights organizations.

Fernando Albareda was threatened last December, when they wrote to him We’re going to get you together with your daddy and You are the son of a terrorist with six bullets in the door, which he reported at the time, but the case opened as qualified threats was paralyzed and was not even given surveillance.

Ricardo Fermín Albareda was a former police officer accused of being part of the People’s Revolutionary Army (ERP) and suffered unspeakable torture, according to the testimonies of survivors of the military dictatorship (1976-1983). He was later murdered and disappeared in the El Embudo Clandestine Detention Center, according to the testimony of the former guard of the place Ramón Calderón, who recounted the savage torture applied to the victim, his agony and death.

Not much has been revealed about Montoya’s murder, but everything points to robbery not being the motive. On one of the walls of his house was written in red lipstick: We are going to kill them all. Now we are going for your children. Police.

Montoya’s body, which had a severe blow to the head, was found by Fernando – who went to the house when he received no response to his phone calls – in the courtyard of the house.

Human rights organizations in Córdoba recalled the times when the criminal Argentine Anti-Communist Alliance (Triple A) operated, which preceded and then participated in crimes against humanity committed under state terrorism applied by the military regime.

They also point out what is happening right now in the country, where the system of repression is amplified with excessive scope, both in terms of espionage and persecution, as is the creation of an Artificial Intelligence unit in the Ministry of Security that allows this institution to carry out the so-called cyber patrolwhich controls telephones, cell phones, computers, the possibility of raiding homes, and arbitrary and illegal arrests, without recourse to justice.

Likewise, the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, announced that new police forces may be created suspect profiles which, according to what is happening, makes everyone suspect, and even anyone who criticizes the government – as has already happened – can be considered terroristas was done with four detainees in the peaceful demonstrations carried out in recent times, who were kept in prison as prisoners. terrorists.

What happened in Córdoba coincides with the formation of an Intelligence Secretariat, in which figures from the past have been appointed, and who have even worked in the intelligence services of the United States and Israel. Everything is organized in an attempt to turn this agency into a mirror of the CIA and other similar agencies.

It is estimated that human rights organizations will request that the threats against the entire Albareda family be investigated, and that this also be done in light of the number of complaints throughout the country. Right now there is a determined fight for government intervention in the University of Las Madres de Plaza de Mayo.

The violence of hunger and the situation of public universities throughout the country are also being considered. They claim that they will not be able to continue if the budget issue is not resolved and they do not know if they will be able to survive from next month onwards. Milei’s announcements for the dissolution of the State are new mass layoffs.

All this at a time when food prices, transport fares and other public services have risen indiscriminately and it is clear that everything is in place for repression and the annulment of all rights to protest.

The fact that the bill has been submitted to annul the constitutional article that prevents the armed forces from acting as internal security is very serious, since they would be under the control of the Minister of Security, on a par with the six internal security forces, which have received equipment and weapons, forming a true army, which, if social control projects continue, would become an occupying force.
