23-Year-Old Albuquerque Motel Guest Arrested Over Rape Allegations Involving Female Employee at Quality Inn on Iliff & Coors

A female motel employee accused 23-year-old Abdulvahh Cilo of following her after her shift and taking her into his motel room, where he allegedly raped her.

Authorities arrested a man staying at an Albuquerque motel for allegedly raping a motel employee in his room.

Abdulvahh Cilo, 23, was staying at the Quality Inn on Iliff & Coors on Monday. According to court records, he pulled the female employee into his room and sexually assaulted her.

The woman was brought to the hospital and told investigators that she had clocked out at 4 p.m. She said she was walking to her car when a man, later identified as Cilo, began following her.

The woman said Cilo got into her car, asked to make a call, and then told her that he was interested in her. Court documents stated that the man then pulled her from the car and into his room.

After allegedly raping the woman, Cilo let her leave the room. She told another hotel employee about the incident, who alerted security, according to court documents. 

Police arrived and arrested Cilo on charges of kidnapping, criminal sexual penetration, criminal sexual contact, false imprisonment, interference with communications, and battery.

Authorities booked him into the Metropolitan Detention Center Tuesday.
