Authorities arrested a man staying at the Quality Inn on Iliff & Coors for allegedly raping a female employee of the Albuquerque motel on Monday.
Court records say Abdulvahh Cilo, a 23-year-old motel guest, pulled the woman into his room and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
The alleged victim told investigators that she finished work at 4 p.m. and headed to her car when Cilo started following her. She claimed he entered the vehicle, asked to make a call, and expressed interest in her. Court documents stated that Cilo then pulled her from the car and into his room.
After the alleged rape incident, the woman shared what happened to another hotel employee, who alerted security.
Police arrested Cilo on charges of kidnapping, criminal sexual penetration, criminal sexual contact, false imprisonment, interference with communications, and battery. Authorities placed him in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center on Tuesday.
