Have you heard about the new entertainment hub taking shape in northeast Albuquerque? Revel Entertainment broke ground Friday on its outdoor amphitheater.
The expansion will add an outdoor destination for live music and entertainment next to Revel’s existing venue. The new space will sit near Moñtano and I-25, with restaurants, shops, public transit, and a bike path nearby.
Revel Entertainment owner Daniel Chavez said the project is an “incredibly exciting moment for Revel and Albuquerque.”
“We’ve always believed in the power of live entertainment to bring people together, and this project allows us to take that vision to the next level,” he told KOAT Action News. “We’re excited to invest in Albuquerque and create a new outdoor space where people can experience live music and entertainment.”
The amphitheater will give Revel more space to host concerts, live entertainment, and other outdoor events. It will also create a new destination for audiences in Albuquerque and across New Mexico.
“While concerts will be the center point, this space is being designed for so much more, including national and regional entertainment, festival-styled events, local artists and musicians, food vendors, family programming, and free community events,” Revel Entertainment Head of Marketing Ciara Knee-Chavez told KRQE News.
The amphitheater will accommodate up to 3,000 people. Officials expect to open the venue in spring 2027.
