Albuquerque’s reading enthusiasts have no shortage of literary events this week. Books on the Bosque, Page 1 Books, Bookworks ABQ, and several locations of Albuquerque Public Libraries are hosting a variety of events across genres. Additionally, Casa Urraca Press and New Mexico Writers will host a joint Albuquerque launch for the A Year of New Mexico Poetry anthology, with readings from featured poets.

Albuquerque’s literary community is also expecting the opening of Vellum & Vine, the city’s first romance bookstore and coffee shop. The shop is set to open later this summer, giving local readers and romance enthusiasts another exciting destination.
