The Fourth of July will happen this weekend. Here is the list of the events to look out for and attend across the state.

As the Fourth of July approaches, various organizations and communities have prepared events for Fourth of July. Here is the list of events that will be happening across region.

Fourth of July Celebration Across The State

In Albuquerque, Freedom 4th will celebrate America’s 250 years of independence. You and your family can enjoy a concert featuring local bands, followed by a headlining performance from WAR, and end the night with dazzling firework show lighting up the sky. You can also take part in Albuquerque’s favorite sweet and savory treats from local food vendors.

The celebration is for all. You can bring kids and enjoy inflatable jumpers, climbing walls, and free face paint. The event is from 3 to 10 p.m.

On July 3, Las Cruces will have their “4th of July Electric Light Parade “Stars, Stripes and City Lights”“, the electric light parade that will begin at 9 p.m. at Apodaca Park and ends on Maag Softball Complex.

Meanwhile from July 3-5, Grants are gearing up for “Wild West Days 4th of July Parade & Rodeo.” This is their 86th Annual 4th of July Parade and celebrate the community, tradition, and summer in true Western style.

The parade will feature floats, classic cars, local groups and organizations, music, and community spirit in patriotic celebration along Route 66.

In the meantime, Mountainair will have their BARK in the Park Event at Abo” on July 4. The event is hosted by Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument and the Friends of Mountainair Animal Shelter (FOMAS). In this program, the BARK Ranger program lets furry friends join the adventure and earn their ranger status also. You can also learn about dog etiquette at the park and help spread dog adoption awareness.

From 10 a.m. to noon, you can participate in ranger-led trail hikes with furry babies, and at noon, you can enjoy an educational presentation by FOMAS. This event is free to attend.

In Taos, DALEEE KTAOS is throwing an all-day shindig packed with everything perfect for the perfect summer Saturday. It will include Rosie’s Smokehouse BBQ, volleyball, World Cup games, music on patio, cold drinks, good vibes, and fun in the sun.

Their event will start at 4 p.m. and free to attend

More Fourth of July Celebrations

Going back to Las Cruces, you can enjoy an evening of live music, great food, and a spectacular fireworks show. You can gather your family and friends for a fun, festive night filled with community spirit.

The gate will open at 4 p.m. and free to attend. Performers are Triple Jack at 6:45 p.m. and 49 Winchester at 8 p.m. There will be also a fireworks display which will start at 9:45 p.m.

Meanwhile, Red, White & Mesilla will have a live music with DJ Gabe and Neal McCowan, a foam party by LC Foam Parties, a hot dog eating contest, and a fireworks display running from 3 to 10 p.m. This event is also free to attend.

Lastly, Santa Fe will host its wine festival. Sample and purchase a glass from dozens of New Mexico-based wineries. You can also explore hundreds of artisan vendors ranging from clothing to accessories, art, and more.

You can also take a lunch or early dinner from multiple food trucks onsite, or purchase a charcuterie board or snacks from one of the many food vendors onsite. The event is from noon to 6 p.m.
