As Brant One News expands, we are looking for new writers to continue to cover local news stories, highlight community, and stay close to New Mexico news. We want people who will tell the important stories, and that could be you!
As a writer for Brant One, you will gain experience in reporting, editing, writing, publishing your work, and most importantly, you will have the opportunity to highlight topics that you find important.
What will I be writing about?
Anything! We are looking for writers for local news, of course, but Brant One needs variety!
What are the requirements?
We are looking for college-age writers who are looking for job experience. You must be local to New Mexico, and be seeking experience in the realm of writing, researching, and reporting for news. If you are a student focusing on journalism and/or reporting, you’re exactly who we need! However, being a student is not required.
Is it paid?
Yes! We want to give you compensation for your time and effort, in addition to getting your work published.
