A man was shot dead in northwest Albuquerque on Saturday. Authorities said they are currently investigating the fatal shooting outside the Oasis Event Center.
According to a spokesperson for Albuquerque police, the incident occurred at around 2 a.m. outside the center on 3700 Ellison Drive NW.
When officers arrived at the scene, they said they found a man with at least one gunshot wound. Police confirmed the victim did not survive.
Detectives are still investigating the incident, the department said.
